Biscuit has a new home with a family on 20 acres in the country. He has a Dachshund playmate and lots of aunts and uncles. His new "Dad" works at home so Biscuit will have company all of the time. Enjoy your new family, Biscuit! Buscuit is a 4 month old, male, Yellow Lab mix with a slight silver color in his coat. He has the best disposition and loves kids and other dogs. He appeared at a girl’s house up north and she didn’t want to take him to the shelter. We just adore him here. He has the most wonderful eyes and he is a lover. Bubba has been adopt by a great family in Junction City. He gets the run of the house, and is making himself at home, as you can see. Bubba is a beautiful, 7 year old, St. Bernard. He is housebroken, and good with the family. His owner is retired and cannot take care of him anymore because she is too old. He needs a loving family to give him a good home. |

Dakota has been adopted by a family in Wichita. He sleeps with his new 2 year old human buddy, and is adjusting well. Way to go Dakota! Dakota is a gorgeous, male, German Shepherd. He is 1 1/2 years old, neutered and housebroken. Dakota is very energetic and has a great disposition. Unfortunately, his owner must give him up due to change in marital status. Jake is now living happily with a senior at the University of Kansas and getting lots of love and attention. He will soon be graduating with his owner and going with him wherever he goes. His Grandparents love him too and are there for "dogsitting" needs! We love you and will miss you Jake!! Jake is a 4 year old male, neutered Shepherd mix whose owner moved to another state and abandoned him. Thankfully, he was found in time but now he needs a loving, dependable home. Shep has been adopted by a really nice young couple. He will have a house with a fenced in yard. He will get to go to the grandparent's farm on weekends and play with family Border Collie! Shep is going to have a great life!! Shep is a three month old, male, border collie mix. He weighs 15 pounds and is as cute as can be. He was left unclaimed in the pound and was too cute to risk being put to sleep. Shep will need a home with lots of room to run, and a family with the energy and time to provide him the exercise he will need. Is Shep the dog for you?? |

Violet has been adopted and gone to her new home. Have a great New Year, and long life, Violet!! Violet is approx 1 ½ years old, she has papers for AKC registry but because the owners had no intention of breeding or showing her those papers were never finalized. Violet is house trained, neutered, and knows basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘stay’. She is great with children, dogs and though she annoys them, she likes cats too. Violet is a good dog, and the owners, unable to keep her, will not turn her over to a kill shelter - they simply believe that she deserves (as all animals do) a family devoted to her, a family who will bring out the very best in her. Isn’t she just a beautiful Basset?? |
